Amazing Mixed Media Canvas 

Toni did this really fabulous canvas,,,,,,,so I am showing it as a really gorgeus inspirational work. Today was one of Andy Pearson's classes at Pinnacle Crafts. It was a canvas/mixed media class and this is what I created...

Finished and hanging on the wall.

I had taken one of Ignacio's images with me as it was the colour scheme that I wanted to use...

 

...but having seen Andy's sample, I decided I would use the image on the piece and I'm really pleased with the finished look. There is lots of texture and detail on this piece...

.

..and as you can see, I've taken the colour, texture and detailing over the edge so that the piece has a 'finished' look to it.

I made a little story book as a keepsake using the Punky Dunk And The Gold Fish Set.

Below is a little overview of most of the book’s pages. I arranged the images in a way that they would tell a little story and kept the embellishments to a minimum to let the story shine through. As I was planning this project, a couple of friends came to mind, who are cat lovers and recently lost their great feline companion …

The tag on this first page fits in behind the little poem

For the background I used stamps and pretty paper. I also added my own titles which I made up on my computer.

My embellishments are made up of die-cut shapes, pearls and candi.

I am falling in lovw with each page,,,,,,OMG

And....more,,,,and more creative pages,,,

I also left some space to add a personal message or two …

Now let me tell you about the story of "Punky Dunk and the Mouse"... When I saw the images of the set a tNicecrane Designs I knew straight away what I was going to make with them : I have a friend who is as mad about cats as I am and I am sure she will love this little story book... And don't worry about the mouse : she is a smart cookie and nothing bad happens to her ! It's more than I can say about the mice Sukie brings us !!! Here is the little story book...

It was not easy to take a photo of the inside but this will give you an idea...
